I founded The Good Life Companies in 2012 after noticing a gap in the market—successful financial advisors who wanted to go independent but needed a turn-key solution to support their practice. Along with my partner, Courtnie Nein, we built a foundation of strategies, procedures, and support that became what Good Life is today.

Before launching Good Life, I worked as both a financial advisor and branch manager at Waddell & Reed Financial Services, starting in 2005. I earned my degrees in Accounting and Business Management from Alvernia University in Reading, PA, after graduating from Red Bank Catholic High School in New Jersey.

My journey into the financial industry started early. After losing my father while I was in high school, I jumped into the business full-time as a sophomore in college. While balancing life as a full-time student and NCAA athlete, I obtained my securities registrations and insurance licenses. In 2007, I teamed up with Courtnie, and together, we built a successful practice that eventually led to the creation of Good Life Financial Advisors. Our goal was simple: to provide better solutions for our clients while also creating a national platform designed to help other advisors who shared our commitment to serving their clients, communities, and families.

Seeing another opportunity to innovate, I also helped establish Good Life Advisors, an Advisor-Owned RIA. Instead of just using an RIA for compliance, we created a model that allows independent IARs to own a piece of the firm. I see my role as more than just running a company—I’m focused on creating new opportunities, developing new assets, and ultimately helping advisors build wealth. To do that, I’ve surrounded myself with an incredible executive team of industry veterans and proven business leaders.

Outside of work, my world revolves around my wife, Liz—my college sweetheart—and our five amazing kids: Blake Seraphina, Rhys Brian, Elena Rae, Boston James, and Payson Peace. As a family, we love distance running and spending time with our extended family in New Jersey. Giving back is also a big part of my life—I serve on the board of our local YMCA and stay active in the Lions Club, the Greater Reading Chamber of Commerce, and the Alvernia Alumni Association.
